CARING FOR YOUR PRODUCTS
BAMBOO SCREENS
All our screens are made from naturally grown plantation bamboo. No bamboo is rejected, so no two pieces are the same. Please expect variation in colour, appearance and size. Over time hairline cracks will appear in bamboo but will not reduce the overall strength. Your screen will weather and fade over time, just like timber. It is natural for the colour to fade as time goes by.
Recommended Installation: Mount screens on solid frame using appropriate hardware. Do not position screens directly on wet surfaces or soil, or water absorption will occur and increase the rate of rot. Use our bamboo capping on top to reduce the amount of water entering your screen from the top and therefore reducing the rate of rot.
Care:Coat your raft every 6-12 months with clear lacquer or polyurethane to maintain colour and increase longevity. Apply to the bamboo surface, but also to the naturally closed nodes at the top of the bamboo fence. The sealer prevents bamboo fibres from absorbing moisture and reduces the volume and speed of moisture exchange with the bamboo's surroundings.

HARDWOOD TIMBER SCREENS
This product is made from ethically-sourced timber.Please expect slight variations colour and appearance as no tree is identical to the next.
As with all timber, this timber screen will age over time. This will include fading & discolouration.Your screens are lightly stained but ongoing maintenance is required to maintain the same appearance.

Care: We recommend staining your lattice at least once every 6-12 months. Use a water-based timber stain or decking stain. This will increase longevity and enhance your product’s natural beauty.

LASER-CUT BAMBOO SCREENS & FENCE EXTENSIONS
Our specially engineered, laser-cut bamboo screens are made from 100% plantation bamboo.
Bamboo pulp is treated and then pressed and “baked” into sheets. The sheets are then cut into creative and beautiful designs with precision lasers.
Your engineered bamboo screens can be painted. If this is your intention, before painting, please sand back lightly and apply a primer.
These screens are lightly coated with a water-based sealant. Over time your screen will fade. We recommend you reapply a protective coat of sealant or stain every 6-12 months.

HANDLING HARDWOOD STAKES
Our stakes are rough-sawn, so please always handle your stakes with gloves on.
Always hammer in your stakes with a proper hammer or mallet to ensure stability.
